Narrative Death

Formed in 2021, Narrative Death started as a solo act as the singer-songwriter Karan is soon joined by the next member, a multi-instrumentalist songwriter, Gate. About a year of honing their dark, folk sound, the band has now turned into a full band with the recent members, Chon (bass) and Kimmo (drums) joins the band.

Lyrically, the band explores themes like identity collapse, rebirth, existential fear, memory, addiction, grief, and transformation. Their songs often feel like chapters in a psychological or spiritual journey — starting in chaos, breaking through denial, and searching for meaning in the wreckage of old beliefs and past selves.

Sonically, Narrative Death has been afraid to experiment with their sound of genres of their songs. With the first EP "Gates of Doom" being an folky, indie-pop record and recent collaboration with NINIT "Coming To Terms" an emotional, dance single and their upcoming album "Harmonion" plunging the band into an alternative or nostalgic pop-rock sound.
